By signing up for and using Summarizer ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Summarizer provides a JavaScript widget that website owners can install to automatically generate AI summaries of their articles. The summaries are generated using third‑party AI models. The Service includes a client dashboard for managing summaries, customizing appearance, and viewing usage statistics.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Summarizer, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
You must provide a valid email address and website URL. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account (magic link logins). You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
You may not:
Summaries are generated automatically by a third‑party AI (Groq). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any summary. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing summaries before publication if required. The Service may occasionally produce incorrect, biased, or inappropriate content – you assume all risks.
The Service offers a free plan with limited monthly summaries. Paid plans (Pro) offer higher quotas. All fees are non‑refundable. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Unpaid accounts will revert to the free plan or be suspended.
We collect your email, website URL, usage data (summaries generated, feedback votes), and IP addresses for security. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
You retain ownership of your website content. Summarizer retains ownership of the widget code, backend software, and any aggregated, anonymised analytics. You grant us a license to process your content solely to provide the Service (i.e., to send it to the AI model and cache summaries).
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or exceed your quota without upgrading. You may delete your account by contacting support. Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Summarizer and its owner (Sushant Kumar) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or via the dashboard. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
